67 Logos Designathon sees important additions join its initiative

“Our team is extremely excited about this unique opportunity and the shared value this project will create for black entrepreneurs in South Africa this Mandela Day,” said Richard Rayne, Managing Director of iLearn.

“Our ultimate goal is to empower successful entrepreneurs by providing them with the skills to develop sustainable businesses, enabling them to become more economically active,” adds Rayne.

Successful apprenticeship entrepreneurs from the Retail Capital network (who will automatically be part of the 67 Logos Designathon) will write a SETA accredited FETC qualification: New Venture Creation NQF 4, facilitated by iLearn.

This is a 12-month SETA accredited learning qualification designed to provide entrepreneurs with the formal academic knowledge and skills necessary to manage small and medium-sized businesses.

In addition, the contribution of creatives in terms of time and design capabilities is crucial to the success of the initiative, and CWDi will contribute to this year’s Designathon by committing logos for the campaign, ”said Lesley Waterkeyn, the idea behind the 67 Logos Designathon. “As a result, 45 designers have already signed up, and we would like to challenge other agencies and creatives to join and do the same.”

“CWDi is thrilled to once again contribute to the 67 Logos campaign and help make a difference for small businesses. In our current Covid landscape, these kinds of initiatives are needed more than ever, ”said Craig Naicker, Group Managing Director at CWDi.

“This is such an amazing initiative, and we are excited to use our writing skills to help these small businesses. Our team is totally on board and we want to show people that writing is useful to the world,” concludes John Davenport. , responsible creative manager at Havas Advertising.
