Acclaimed actress Arianne Zucker has discussed her 2022 Daytime Emmy nomination for “Outstanding Lead Actress” for “Days of Our Lives.”
Playing Nicole Walker in “Days of Our Lives”
Zucker has had many roles, but she’s best known for playing Nicole Walker on NBC’s hit daytime drama “Days of our Lives.” Zucker played the role from 1998 to 2017, and then again from 2018 to the present day. She has aired over 2,500 episodes, multiple movies, and new media programs, giving her thousands of hours of on-screen experience.
She is drawn to the role of Nicole because of her “unpredictability”. “Nicole is a woman who’s lived a very impulsive lifestyle. She does her deeds and apologizes later,” she said with a soft laugh. learned some life lessons, which is really cool.”

She shared that she submitted the scenes that happened when the characters Eric and Nicole are in turmoil. “They are unfortunately never really happy together,” she said. “My scenes took place after Eric discovered that Nicole had slept with Alex. They are two people who love each other very much but are literally on two different paths that do not go in the same direction. They had to separate and break up with each other in order to be the best versions of themselves.
“I thought these scenes were very relevant and could happen in real life,” she added. “I really like these scenes and we’ll see how they pan out.”
“A Very Salem Christmas”
Being part of the Peacock special ‘A Very Salem Christmas’, she said, “It was fun. It allowed me to play a version of Nicole that I hadn’t played in a very long time. “, she said.
“It’s always fun to play a villain because it lets you do whatever you want,” she added.
Zucker began his modeling career at the age of 16. She quickly traveled to Paris after winning her first modeling competition. From there, she traveled to Australia and Japan, landing in New York herself. Meanwhile, Zucker also booked several national ads such as Mazda Miata and McDonald’s.

In 2018, Zucker won an Independent Series Award for her role as Clara in “Ladies of the Lake.” She also had the chance to play different characters in several lifetime movies such as “Killer Assistant”, “Web Cam Girls”, “Ex-Wife Killer” and “His Perfect Obsession”.

The organization operates out of a small town in Weiser, Idaho. The camp enriches the lives of teens through outdoor adventure. ARROW-HEART’s biggest adventure so far was the creation of a short documentary about the camp in South Africa in 2012.
Zucker has named Meryl Streep his dream acting partner. “Meryl Streep is incredibly subtle and approachable,” she said.
If she were to have a super power, she revealed it would be “to read people’s emotions. It would be a cool superpower.
She enjoyed being part of the sci-fi thriller “Monsters of California”, directed by Tom DeLonge. “It was fun,” she said. “Tom is a really cool director with a pretty brilliant mind. Tom is really smart, and there’s a lot going on up there, and when you sit down to talk to him, he’s really fascinating. The script was really fun. Tom is really an acting director. I hope he continues to make more films.
On his definition of the word success, Zucker said, “Success is anything you can recreate in your life that brings you joy, fulfillment, and happiness.”
