New Orleans, Louisiana – The US Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2022 Division I All-Academic Track and Field Teams with more than 300 men’s and women’s teams earning the distinction through the obtaining a cumulative team average of 3.00 or higher. The Atlantic 10 Conference was again well represented in the 2022 season with a total of 17 teams represented, including Fordham’s men’s and women’s teams.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent scoring period.
Fordham posted a GPA of 3.53 for the women’s team, while the men’s team recorded a GPA of 3.39.
From a conference perspective, 10 Atlantic 10 women’s teams were honored, while seven Atlantic 10 men’s teams were honored.
Fordham was one of seven Atlantic 10 schools to honor both its men’s and women’s teams, joining fellow Atlantic 10 teams Duquesne, George Washington, George Mason, La Salle, Rhode Island and Saint Louis. The VCU women’s team, Richmond, Massachusetts, was also honored.
